Scholarship Tickets
Viewport is committed to making our conference accessible to everyone who wants to be part of it. We offer a number of free scholarship tickets to people from under-represented groups in tech who might not otherwise be able to attend.
What’s Included
A scholarship ticket covers the same access as a standard ticket: all talks, the evening social, and networking opportunities. We want you to have the full Viewport experience.
Who Can Apply
We prioritise applications from people who are under-represented in the tech industry, including (but not limited to) women, people of colour, LGBTQ+ people, and people with disabilities. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, please apply anyway - we would rather hear from you.
Attending as a Scholarship Recipient
Scholarship recipients attend Viewport exactly like everyone else - you won’t be identified as a scholarship recipient at the event, and there’s no separate queue or badge. If you’re coming alone, let us know and we’ll introduce you to some friendly faces.
How to Apply
Email scholarships@viewportconf.org with a little about yourself and why you’d like to attend. If travel costs are a barrier, let us know - we’ll see what we can do. Places are limited, so we recommend applying early. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
